Proverbs 24:15

And they consulted together that they might take Jesus by craft and kill him.

And their plot was made known to Saul; and they watched the gates day and night, that they might kill him.

But the son of Paul's sister heard of the plot, and he went and entered the fortress, and told Paul.

and, asking a favor against him, besought him that he would send and have him brought to Jerusalem, laying a plot to kill him on the road.
