Proverbs 24:27


Prepare your work outside
And get it ready for yourself in the field;
Afterward build your house and establish a home.

1 Kings 5:17-18

The king gave orders, and they quarried great stones, valuable stones, to lay the foundation of the house (temple) with cut stones.

1 Kings 6:7

While it was being built, the house was built of stone prepared and finished (precut) at the quarry, and no hammer, axe, or iron tool of any kind was heard in the house while it was under construction.

Luke 14:28-30

For which one of you, when he wants to build a watchtower [for his guards], does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to finish it?
