Proverbs 26:17

He who meddles in someone else's quarrel is like one who takes a dog by the ears.

An evil man seeks only rebellion. Therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

A fool's lips want to argue. His mouth calls for blows.

It is an honor for a man to cease from discord. Only fools start quarrels.

Then he said: Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing they produce quarrels (controversy) (fighting).
