Dross silver overlaid upon earthenware, so are burning lips, with a mischievous heart:

And the Lord said unto him: Now, ye, the Pharisees, the outside of the cup and of the tray, do make pure; but, your inward part, is full of plunder and wickedness.

While yet he was speaking, lo! a multitude; and, he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them on, - and he drew near unto Jesus, to kiss him.

Then said Joab unto Amasa, Art thou, well, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand, to kiss him.

He that concealeth hatred, hath false lips, and he that sendeth forth slander, the same, is a dullard.

Remove the dross from the silver, and there cometh forth, to the refiner, a vessel:

That they may come unto thee as people do come And may sit before thee as my people, And they will hear thy words, But the, words themselves, they not do, - though fond with their mouths, they seem to be, After their unjust gain, their heart is going.

Alas for you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because ye make yourselves like sepulchres whitewashed, which, outside, indeed, appear, beautiful, but, within, are full, of dead men's bones and all uncleanness, -
