Proverbs 30:5

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

The words of LORD are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace on the earth, purified seven times.

As for God, his way is perfect. The word of LORD is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

The precepts of LORD are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Thy word is very pure, therefore thy servant loves it.

So the law is indeed holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

But the wisdom from above is indeed first pure, then peaceful, meek, easily entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and non-hypocritical.

Ye who fear LORD, trust in LORD. He is their help and their shield.
