Proverbs 4:9

and that the women be decent in their apparel, adorned with modesty and reserve, not with broider'd hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

thou hast made him for a while lower than the angels; thou hast crown'd him with glory and honour, and hast set him over the works of thy hands:

but in the internal qualities of the mind, in that purity, in that mild and dispassionate temper, which is so acceptable to the divine being.

that when the sovereign pastor shall appear, you may carry off a glorious crown, that will never fade.

to him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my father in his throne.
