For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

But the sure ground of God remaineth, and hath this seal: the Lord knoweth them that are his, and let every man that calleth on the name of Christ, depart from iniquity.

Full gracious is the LORD, and a stronghold in time of trouble. He knoweth them that put their trust in him:

I am that good shepherd, and know mine, and am known of mine.

The LORD knoweth the days of the godly, and their inheritance shall endure forever.

But as for my way, he knoweth it: and tryeth me as the gold in the fire.

O thou enemy, thy destructions are come to a perpetual end; even as the cities which thou hast destroyed, their memorial is perished with them.

The ungodly shall see it, and it shall grieve him; he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away, and the desire of the ungodly shall perish.

Enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

But these, as brute beasts, naturally made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of that they know not, and shall perish through their own destruction,
