for the needy are not permanently ignored, the hopes of the oppressed are not forever dashed.
For he will rescue the needy when they cry out for help, and the oppressed who have no defender.
But if you seek the Lord your God from there, you will find him, if, indeed, you seek him with all your heart and soul.
The Lord will judge his people, and will change his plans concerning his servants; when he sees that their power has disappeared, and that no one is left, whether confined or set free.
may your ear be attentive and your eyes be open to hear the prayer of your servant that I am praying to you today throughout both day and night on behalf of your servants the Israelites. May their eyes be blinded! Make them shake violently!
When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers.
