Thou preparest a table before me against mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil, and fillest my cup full.

And the vine answered, 'Should I leave my wine that cheereth both God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?'

Give strong drink unto such as are condemned to death, and wine unto those that mourn:

Meat maketh men to laugh, and wine maketh them merry; but unto money are all things obedient.

And they shall come, and rejoice upon the hill of Zion, and shall have plenteousness of goods, which the LORD shall give them: Namely, wheat, wine, oil, young sheep and calves. And their conscience shall be as a well-watered garden, for they shall no more be hungry.

Who is wise? Who hath knowledge to make an answer? Wisdom maketh a man's face to shine, but malice putteth it out of favour.

Go thou thy way then, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with gladness, for thy works please God.

For thy love is more pleasant than wine,

Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity: Wherefore God, which is thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."

But ye have an ointment of the holy ghost, and ye know all things.

Bread

Moreover he called for a dearth upon the land, and destroyed all the provision of bread.

And when I have broken the staff of your bread: that ten wives shall bake your bread in one oven and men shall deliver you your bread again by weight, then shall ye eat and shall not be satisfied.

He humbled thee and made thee hunger and fed thee with Manna, which neither thou nor thy father knew of, to make thee know that a man must not live by bread only: but by all that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD must a man live.

For lo, shall the LORD God of Hosts doth take away from Jerusalem and Judah all possessions and power, all meat and drink,

And he said unto me, "Behold thou son of man, I will minish all the provision of bread in Jerusalem, so that they shall weigh their bread, and eat it with scarceness. But as for water, they shall have a very little measure thereof, to drink.

When I shoot among them the perilous darts of hunger, which shall be but death: Yea, therefore shall I shoot them, because I will destroy you. I will increase hunger, and diminish all the provision of bread among you.

"Thou son of man, when the land sinneth against me and goeth forth in wickedness: I will stretch out mine hand upon it, and destroy all the provision of their bread, and send dearth upon them, to destroy man and beast in the land.
