May my thoughts be pleasing to him. I will find joy in Jehovah.

But his delight is in the law of Jehovah (YHWH), and on his law he meditates (ponders) (speaks softly with deep thought) (studies) (contemplates) day and night.

I will be glad, rejoice and exult in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

Be glad and find joy in Jehovah, you righteous people. Shout for joy all that are upright in heart.

You satisfy me with the richest foods. My mouth will sing your praise with joyful lips.

I will also meditate on all your work and consider your activities.

I will meditate on your precepts and regard your ways.

I have inherited your laws forever, for they are the joy of my heart.

Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, more then fine gold.

I obey your laws and love them exceedingly.

How precious are your thoughts to me, O God! How numerous is the sum of them!

The knowledge of wisdom is sweet to you. When you find the knowledge of wisdom there is a reward. Your hope will not fail.

The fig tree will not flourish. There will be no fruit on the vines. The labor of the olive will fail and the fields will yield no food! The flock will be cut off from the fold and there will be no herd in the stalls.

My heart and mind rejoice in God my Savior.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice!
