Psalm 119:166

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

(Kaf) I desperately long for your deliverance. I find hope in your word.

I rely on the Lord, I rely on him with my whole being; I wait for his assuring word.

I wait for your deliverance, O Lord.

Offer the prescribed sacrifices and trust in the Lord!

Who is allowed to ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may go up to his holy dwelling place?

Whoever presents a thank-offering honors me. To whoever obeys my commands, I will reveal my power to deliver."

If anyone wants to do God's will, he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority.

Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments.

I wait for your deliverance, O Lord.
