And I shall lift up my hands to (praise) your commandments. I will love and meditate on your statutes.

But all of you who were faithful to Jehovah your God are still alive today.

Respect Jehovah your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name.

Buy the truth and do not sell it. Also buy wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

Jesus told the Jews who believed him: If you dwell in my word you truly are my disciples.

When he arrived he saw the grace of God and was glad. He exhorted them all to remain true to the Lord as their only purpose of heart.

Put me

I will not be ashamed when I look upon all your commandments.

I trust you, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame. Do not let my enemy's triumph over me.

Jehovah will save Israel with an everlasting salvation. You will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.

Kings will be your guardians. Their princesses will be your nurses. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth. They will lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am Jehovah. Those who hopefully wait for me will not be put to shame.

Let those who persecute me be put to shame. Do not let me be put to shame. Let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed. Bring on them a day of disaster. Crush them with twofold destruction!

Hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts. It comes through Holy Spirit, which is God's gift to us.

Now, my little children dwell (Greek: meno: stay, dwell, be present) with him. If he shall be made known we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming (presence) (being near).
