Psalm 119:62

At midnight I shall rise to give thanks to you for your righteous ordinances.

I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments.

Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God at midnight. The prisoners were listening to them.

And what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments so righteous as the law I present to you this day?

The reverence of Jehovah is pure. It endures forever. The decisions of Jehovah are true. They are completely fair.

Jehovah commands his mercy during the day, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.

I know, O Jehovah, that your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

I have sworn and I will confirm it: I will keep your righteous ordinances.

You are righteous, O Jehovah. Your judgments are upright.

I rise before dawn and cry for help. I wait for your words.

Seven times a day I praise you! This is because of your righteous ordinances.

Early in the morning, long before daybreak, Jesus awoke and went into the wilderness to pray.

The law is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.
