Psalm 119:81

CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation; I hope in thy word.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

{To the chief Musician. An instruction; of the sons of Korah.} As the hart panteth after the water-brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

My flesh and my heart faileth: God is the rock of my heart and my portion for ever.

My soul breaketh for longing after thy judgments at all times.

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me; for I confide in thy word.

They that fear thee will see me, and rejoice; because I have hoped in thy word.

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight.

Thou art my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

I charge you, daughters of Jerusalem, If ye find my beloved, ... What will ye tell him? That I am sick of love.

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot.
