Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

So David lived in the fortress and called it the City of David. David built all around it, from the terrace inwards.

because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling,

So he took me away in the Spirit to a huge, majestic mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

He joined five of the curtains to one another, and the other five curtains he joined to one another.

in the courts of the Lord's temple, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!

When they come in, the prince will come in with them, and when they go out, he will go out.
