Psalm 130:6

I have hoped, O my soul, for My Lord, more than they who watch for the morning, who watch for the morning.

Should I call thee to mind upon my conch, In the watches of the night, would I breathe soft speech of thee.

I forestalled the twilight, and cried for help, For thy word, I waited.

Lo! bless Yahweh, all ye servants of Yahweh, who stand in the house of Yahweh, by night:

Then cried he. A lion! On the watch, O My Lord, had I been standing continually, by day, And at my post, had I been stationed whole nights; -

And, fearing lest haply, on rocky places, we should be wrecked, out of stern, cast they four anchors, - and began praying that day might dawn.
