A Childlike Spirit

11 O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.

11 {A Song of degrees of David.} LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

11 Lord, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too difficult for me.

11 LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.

11 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in matters too great or in things too wonderful for me.

22 Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.

22 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

22 Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself like a little weaned child with its mother; I am like a little child.

22 Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.

22 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me [ceased from fretting].

33 O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.

33 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

33 Israel, put your hope in the Lord, both now and forever.

33 Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever. A Song of Ascents

33 O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forever.
