Bible References

Thy servant

Notwithstanding, in thy days I will not do it, because of David thy father: but I will take it from thy son.
Nevertheless, for David's sake did the LORD his God give him a light in Jerusalem; that he set up his son after him to continue Jerusalem,
For I will defend this city and save it, for mine own sake and for David my servant's sake."
But afterward shall the children of Israel convert, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king: and in the latter days they shall worship the LORD, and his loving-kindness.

Turn not

Behold, O God our defender, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
But thou hast abhorred and forsaken thine annointed, and art displeased at him.
And LORD God, turn not away the face of thine anointed; But remember the mercies promised to David thy servant."
