Psalm 147:6

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will exalt you.

but let the hidden man of the heart be adorned with the imperishable [ornaments] of a meek and quiet spirit, which are of great price before God.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but plunging them into Tartarus delivered them up in chains to be kept in darkness till the judgment,
