Upon the ungodly he shall rain snares, fire, brimstone, storm and tempest: this shall be their portion to drink.

Thou preparest a table before me against mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil, and fillest my cup full.

I will receive the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess: but be fulfilled with the spirit,

"Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion."

For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou art set in the throne that judgest right.

And why? Because the king putteth his trust in the LORD; and in the mercy of the most highest he shall not miscarry.

Thou shalt grant the king a long life; that his years may endure throughout all generations,

Thy seed will I establish forever, and set up thy throne from one generation to another." Selah.

{A Psalm of David} The LORD said unto my LORD, "Sit thou on my righthand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."

The LORD hath made a faithful oath unto David, and he shall not shrink from it, "Of the fruit of the body shall I set upon thy seat.

Behold now therefore, this is my servant whom I will keep to myself: mine elect; In whom my soul shall be pacified. I will give him my spirit, that he may show forth judgment and equity among the Gentiles.

Therefore I will give him his part in many, and the spoil of the rich he shall divide: because he gave his soul to death, and was numbered with the trespassers, and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Him hath God lift up with his right hand, to be a ruler and a saviour: for to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

For he must reign till he have put all his enemies under his feet.
