Psalm 18:26

To [the] pure you show yourself pure. but to [the] wicked you show yourself shrewd.

With those who scorn, he is scornful, but to those who are humble, he gives favor.

" 'And if you do not accept correction from me through these [things], but you go against me [in] hostility,

" 'And if through this you do not listen to me and you go against me in hostility,

Because he loved cursing, let it come [upon] him. Because he did not delight in blessing, let it be far from him.

Or do you despise the wealth of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

[There will be] affliction and distress for every {human being} who does evil, of the Jew first and of the Greek,

For judgment [is] merciless to the one who has not practiced mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
