More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

The Law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.

Pure gold cannot be given in its stead, and silver be weighed as its price.

Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding.

Receive my instruction and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver!

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips,

How sweet are Your Words to my taste! More than honey to my mouth!

nor have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.

My son, eat honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb is sweet to your palate;

And when the people had come into the woods, behold, a flow of honey! But no one put his hand to his mouth, for the people feared the oath.

And who is a great nation whose statutes and judgments are so righteous as all this Law which I set before you today?

When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasing to your soul;
