The statutes of the LORD are right, and rejoice the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, and giveth light unto the eyes.

The words of the LORD are pure words: even as the silver, which from the earth is tried, and purified seven times in the fire.

Therefore hold I straight all thy commandments; and all false ways I utterly abhor.

Consider, and hear me, O LORD my God. Lighten mine eyes, that I sleep not in death,

I have as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all manner of riches.

O let my heart be sound in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.

{Nun} Thy word is a lantern unto my feet and a light unto my paths.

because that Abraham hearkened unto my voice and kept mine ordinances, commandments, statutes and laws."

For when they have a matter, they come unto me, and I must judge between every man and his neighbor, and must show them the ordinances of God and his laws."

Behold, I have taught you ordinances and laws, such as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do even so in the land whither ye go to possess it.

Therefore, when the LORD your God hath chosen a place to make his name dwell there, thither ye shall bring all that I command you: your burnt sacrifices and your offerings, your tithes and the heave offerings of your hands and all your godly vows which ye vow unto the LORD.

And rejoice before the LORD thy God: both thou, thy son, thy daughter, thy servant and thy maid, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, the fatherless and the widow that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to make his name dwell there.

And thou shalt rejoice in that thy feast; both thou and thy son, thy daughter, thy servant, thy maid, the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless and the widow that are in thy cities.

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest unto them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, true laws, good commandments and statutes,

that I should fulfill thy will, O my God. I am content to do it; yea, thy law is within my heart."

that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise the everlasting! Hallelujah!

Blessed art thou, O LORD; O teach me thy statutes.

My delight shall be in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy words.

For thy testimonies are my delight, and my counsellors.

Behold, my delight is in thy commandments; O quicken me in thy righteousness.

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

If my delight were not in thy law, I should perish in my trouble.

Thou, through thy commandments, hast made me wiser than mine enemies; for they are ever with me.

{Ayin} I deal with the thing that is lawful and right; O give me not over unto mine oppressors.

When thy word goeth forth, it giveth light and understanding unto the simple.

Trouble and heaviness have taken hold upon me; yet is my delight in thy commandments.

My lips shall speak of thy praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

For it is the LORD that giveth wisdom, out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

For the commandment is a lantern, and the law a light: yea, chastening and nurture is the way of life:

All the words of God are pure and clean, for he is a shield unto all them that put their trust in him.

Thou helpest him that doth right with cheerfulness, and them that think upon thy ways. But lo, thou art angry: for we offend, and have been ever in sin, and there is not one whole.

When I had found thy words, I ate them up greedily: they have made my heart joyful and glad, for I call upon thy name, O LORD God of Hosts.

And I will put my spirit in you, and will make that ye shall walk in mine ordinances and keep my laws and do them.

Behold, thou art called a Jew, and trustest in the law and rejoicest in God,

because that by the deeds of the law, shall no flesh be justified in the sight of God. For by the law cometh the knowledge of sin.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid: but I knew not what sin meant but by the law. For I had not known what lust had meant, except the law had said, "Thou shalt not lust."

Wherefore the law is holy: and the commandment holy, just, and good.

I delight in the law of God, as concerning the inner man.

But I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

For as many as are under the deeds of the law, are under malediction. For it is written, "Cursed is every man that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to fulfil them."

Is the law, then, against the promise of God? God forbid. Howbeit, if there had been a law given which could have given life: then no doubt righteousness should have come by the law.

And all the people went their way to eat and to drink, and to send part unto others, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.
