1 May the LORD answer you in the day of distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

2 sending you help from the sanctuary, and upholding you out of Zion.

2 May He send you help (D)from the sanctuaryAnd (E)support you from Zion!

2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

2 May He send you help from the sanctuaryand sustain you from Zion.(C)

2 May he send you help from the sanctuary, and may he sustain you from Zion.

3 He will remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah.
