Psalm 21:12

For thou wilt set them the shoulder among thine being left, thou wilt prepare against their face.

If he shall not turn back, he will sharpen his sword; he bent his bow and he will be prepared.

Mine enemies thou gavest the back of the neck to me, and I shall destroy those hating me.

I sinned; what shall I do to thee, guarding men? wherefore didst thou set me for an assault to thee, and I shall be upon myself for a burden?

I was secure, and he will break me in pieces: and he seized upon my neck and he will disperse me, and he will set me up to him for a mark:

In the turning away of mine enemies backward, they shall be weak and perish from thy face.

And he will send his arrows and scatter them; and he increased lightnings, and he will discomfit them.

Thou wilt turn us back from the enemy: and those hating us spoiled for themselves.

Then will mine enemies turn back in the day I shall call: this I knew, that God is for me.

God shall be exalted; their blows were the arrow of the simple.

He bent his bow, he will set me up as a mark for the arrow.

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
