Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake thou shalt lead me and guide me.
Help us, O God, our saving health, for the honor of thy name and deliver us and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
And thou, O GOD the Lord, do unto me for thy name's sake; because thy mercy is good, deliver me.
By thy name, O LORD, thou shalt give me life; by thy righteousness thou shalt bring my soul out of trouble.
I, even I, am he that uproots thy rebellions for mine own sake and will not remember thy sins.
For my name's sake I will defer my anger, and for my praise I will wait patiently for thee that I not cut thee off.
With all this, I intervened for my name's sake that it should not be polluted before the Gentiles, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: I do not do this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the Gentiles, where ye went.

I write unto you, little children, that your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
But not as the offense, so also is the gift. For if through the offense of that one many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of one man, Jesus the Christ, has abounded unto many.
