Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

(For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands towards heaven,)

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Thy holy oracle

But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship towards thy holy temple.

I will worship towards thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

And the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber towards Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.
