Psalm 28:6

Blessed be the LORD! For he has heard the sound of my supplications.

Blessed be the LORD! In a marvelous way he demonstrated his gracious love to me, when I was in a city under siege.

Surely God has heard, and he paid attention to my prayers.

For the LORD listens to the needy and doesn't despise those in bondage.

Yet when they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, he delivered them from certain destruction.

I love the LORD because he has heard my prayer for mercy;

I called on the LORD in my distress; the LORD answered me openly.
