Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down into ruin.

They are lifted up for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are gathered in like all others, and are cut off like the heads of the ears of grain.

For you have need of patience, so that after you have done the will of God you might receive the promise.

But the end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be of sound mind, and be sensible to prayers.
