Psalm 39:11

I have consigned that individual to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, in order that his spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord Jesus.

That is why many of you are ill and infirm, and a number even dead.

for the Lord disciplines the man he loves, and scourges every son he receives.

I reprove and discipline those whom I love; so be in warm earnest and repent.
