"Then the king will say to those on his right, "Come, you who have been blessed by my Father! Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world,

In every way I showed you that by working hard like this we should help the weak and remember the words that the Lord Jesus himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

We urge you, brothers, to admonish those who are idle, cheer up those who are discouraged, and help those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.

Lord

A righteous person will have many troubles, but the LORD will deliver him from them all.

Every day he is generous, lending freely, and his descendants are blessed.

For God is not so unjust as to forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have ministered to the saints and continue to minister to them.

For the one who has shown no mercy will be judged without mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Time of trouble

They will not experience shame in times of trouble; in times of famine they will have plenty.

The king's wrath results in a death sentence, but whoever is wise will appease him.

So remember your Creator during your youth! Otherwise, troublesome days will come and years will creep up on you when you'll say, "I find no pleasure in them,"

Because you have obeyed my command to endure, I will keep you from the hour of testing that is coming to the whole world to test those living on the earth.
