Psalm 41:11

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

My enemy will say: I have overpowered him. My opponents will rejoice because I have been shaken.

You have not handed me over to the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a large place.

Do not let them say: Aha, just what we wanted! We have swallowed him up.

Grant me some proof of your goodness so that those who hate me may see it and be put to shame. You, O Jehovah, have helped me and comforted me.

Blessed is Jehovah, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Sing to Jehovah, praise Jehovah! He has delivered the needy one from the hand (domination) of evildoers.

He disarmed the rulers and authorities! He made a public display of them triumphing over them.
