{To the Chanter, an instruction of the sons of Korah} We have heard with our ears, O God; our fathers have told us what thou hast done in their time of old.

{To the Chanter, a Psalm of the children of Korah} O clap your hands together, all ye people; O sing unto God with the voice of melody!

{A Song of a Psalm of the children of Korah} Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, in the city of our God, even upon his holy hill.

{To the Chanter, a Psalm of the children of Korah} O Hear this, all ye people: ponder it with your ears, all ye that dwell in the world,

{A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah} O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh also longeth after thee, in a barren and dry land where no water is.

{Upon Gittith, a Psalm of the sons of Korah} O how amiable are thy dwellings, thou LORD of Hosts!

{To the Chanter, a Psalm of the sons of Korah} LORD, thou art become gracious unto thy land; thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob.

I open my mouth and draw in my breath, for my delight is in thy commandments.

I stretch forth my hands unto thee; my soul gaspeth unto thee as a thirsty land. Selah.

Therefore, LORD, we have a respect unto the way of thy judgments; thy name and thy remembrance rejoice the soul.

And Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi; and Dathan and Abiram, the son of Eliab; and On the son of Peleth, the sons of Reuben,

and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them and their houses and all the men that were with Korah and all their goods.

Notwithstanding, the children of Korah died not.

These are they that waited with their children of the sons of Kohath: Heman a singer, which was the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

And David and the captains of the host appointed out to do service, the sons of Asaph of Heman and Jeduthun, which did prophesy with harps, psalteries and cymbals. And they were numbered unto the work according to their office.

My soul hath a desire and longing to enter into the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.
