a land which the LORD your God cares for: the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.

"But I said, 'How I would put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the armies of the nations.' and I said, 'You shall call me "My Father," and shall not turn away from following me.'

Excellency

As for the holy ones who are in the land, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.

"Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

"The Lord GOD has sworn by himself," says the LORD, the God of Hosts: "I abhor the pride of Jacob, and detest his fortresses. Therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is in it.

The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Surely I will never forget any of their works.

For the LORD restores the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel; for the destroyers have destroyed them, and ruined their vine branches.

For you are a holy people to the LORD your God: The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Yes, he loves the people. All his saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet; each receives your words.

"I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from him.

But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,

By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
