Prayer For Deliverance

1 For the choir director; on stringed instruments. A (a)Maskil of David, (b)when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Is not David hiding himself among us?”Save me, O God, by (A)Your name,And (c)vindicate me by (B)Your power.

1 {To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us?} Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

1 God, by your name deliver me, and by your power vindicate me.

1 Save me, O God, by Your name;And vindicate me by Your [wondrous] power.

3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

3 For the arrogant have arisen against me; oppressors have sought to take my life. They do not keep God in mind! Interlude

4 Behold, (I)God is my helper;The Lord is (f)the (J)sustainer of my soul.

5 (g)He will (K)recompense the evil to (h)my foes;(i)(L)Destroy them (M)in Your (j)faithfulness.

5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

5 He will repay my adversaries for their evil.Because of Your faithfulness, annihilate them.(F)

5 He will turn the evil upon those who lie in wait for me. Cut them off with your truth.

5 He will pay back the evil to my enemies;In Your faithfulness destroy them.

6 (k)(N)Willingly I will sacrifice to You;I will give (O)thanks to Your name, O Lord, for it is good.

6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

6 I will sacrifice a freewill offering to You.(G)I will praise Your name, Yahweh,because it is good.(H)

6 With a free will offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, LORD, because it is good,

6 With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to You;I will give thanks and praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.

7 For (l)He has (P)delivered me from all (m)trouble,And my eye has (Q)looked with satisfaction upon my enemies.

7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.

7 For He has delivered me from every trouble,and my eye has looked down on my enemies.(I)

7 for he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have seen the end of my enemies. To the Director: With stringed instruments. A Davidic instruction.

7 For He has rescued me from every trouble,And my eye has looked with satisfaction (triumph) on my enemies.
