Psalm 6:7

My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.

My eye also is dim because of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

My heart throbs, my strength fails me. As for the light of my eyes, it also is gone from me.

My eye wastes away because of affliction. I have called daily upon thee, O LORD, I have spread forth my hands to thee.

For this our heart is faint. For these things our eyes are dim,

Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in distress. My eye wastes away with grief, [yea], my soul and my body.

When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day long.
