And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of peoples shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
and by thy sword shalt thou live and shalt serve thy brother; yet there shall be a time when thou shalt have dominion, and thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
And Edom shall be taken; Seir also shall be taken by his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.

Triumph

Moab shall be my washpot; over Edom I will cast my shoe; over Philistia I will triumph.
But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David, and David heard of it and went down to the fortress.
And after this it, came to pass that David smote the Philistines and subdued them, and David took Methegammah out of the hand of the Philistines.
And the Philistines made war again with Israel; and David went down, and his slaves with him, and fought against the Philistines; and David became weary.
