{To the chief Musician upon Neginah, A Psalm of David.} Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

([Psalm of David]) Listen to my words, O Jehovah, Consider my innermost thoughts.

([Psalm of David]) Hear my plea for justice, O Jehovah. Pay attention to my cry. Open your ears to my prayer, spoken without deceit.

Hear the voice of my prayer when I call to you for help, when I lift my hands [in prayer] toward your most holy place.

([Psalm of David]) Listen to my prayer, O God. Do not hide from my plea for favor.

Jehovah, do hear my voice! Let your ears listen to the voice of my supplications.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
