Psalm 64:1

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer; preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

Keep me as the apple of the eye; hide me with the shadow of thy wings,

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me and answer me.

For I have heard the slander of many; fear was on every side; while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

Daleth I sought the LORD, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears.

Give ear to my prayer, O God, and do not hide thyself from my supplication.

My enemies would daily swallow me up, for they are many that fight against me, O thou most High.

Out of the depths I cry unto thee, O LORD.

Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man; preserve me from the man of violence.

LORD, I have called unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

Hear my prayer, O LORD; give ear to my supplications for the sake of thy truth; answer me for the sake of thy righteousness.

Koph I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.

Then the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent,

saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar; and, behold, God has given thee all those that sail with thee.
