For they have privily laid their net to destroy me without a cause; yea, and made a pit for my soul, which I never deserved.
The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.
Ye fall upon the fatherless, and go about to overthrow your own friend.
Do they not recompense evil for good, when they dig a pit for my soul? Remember, how that I stood before thee, to speak for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.

The Heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made; in the same net which they hid privily, is their own foot taken.
While the ungodly hath the overhand, the poor must suffer persecution; let them be taken in the crafty wiliness that they have imagined!
Let a sudden destruction come upon him unawares, and his net that he hath laid privily catch himself, that he may fall into his own mischief.
