Psalm 78:11

They forgot his deeds and his miracles that he had shown them.

They quickly forgot his works and they did not wait for his counsel.

You ignored the rock that fathered you and forgot the God who gave you life.

That they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God but keep his commandments.

They forgot the God of their salvation, the one who did spectacular things in Egypt,

A young woman cannot forget her jewelry or a bride her breastband (sash) (girdle). Yet, my people have forgotten me for countless days.
