The LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.

By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned.

But

but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea, for his steadfast love endures forever;

So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal course when the morning appeared. And as the Egyptians fled into it, the LORDthrew the Egyptians into the midst of the sea.

You blew with your wind; the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the mighty waters.
