Summary

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

At that time, Jesus answered, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children.
and said to him, "Do you hear what these are saying?" Jesus said to them, "Yes. Did you never read, 'Out of the mouth of babes and nursing babies you have perfected praise?'"
In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight."
But God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise. And God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong.

Strength

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.
But those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
who brings sudden destruction on the strong, so that destruction comes on the fortress.
He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Still

When agitated, do not sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.
"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth."
But against any of the children of Israel a dog won't even bark or move its tongue, against man or animal; that you may know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.
Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone?until your people pass over, LORD, until the people pass over who you have purchased.
and she said to the men, "I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that the fear of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.
He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the wicked shall be put to silence in darkness. For no man shall prevail by strength.
Now therefore, LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you are the LORD, even you only."
But the LORD is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him."

At the taunt of one who reproaches and verbally abuses, because of the enemy and the avenger.
