Know

In the morning it is green and groweth up; but in the evening it is cut down, dried up, and withered.
Show yourselves joyful unto the LORD, all ye lands: sing, rejoice, and give thanks.
{A Psalm of Praise} O be joyful in the lord, all ye lands;
And then thou shalt make a horn blow: even in the tenth day of the seventh month, which is the day of atonement. And then shall ye make the horn blow, even throughout all your land.

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them which bring glad tidings of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things."

In the light

There be many that say, "Who will show us any good? LORD lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us."
For they got not the land in possession through their own sword, neither was it their own arm that helped them - But thy righthand, thine arm and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
When his light shined upon my head; when I went after the same light and shining, even through the darkness.
The cheerful countenance of the king is life; and his loving favor is as the evening dew.
O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, the same is he that loveth me: and he shall be loved of my father, and I will love him, and will show mine own self unto him."
Thou hast showed me the ways of life; and shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.'
And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to lighten it. For the brightness of God did light it: and the lamb was the light of it.
