Jehovah reigns! Let the earth rejoice and let the multitude of islands be glad.

Say among the nations, Jehovah reigns; and the world shall be established; it shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples in uprightness.

Jehovah reigns and he is clothed with majesty. Jehovah has girded himself with strength. The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

From these the maritime peoples spread out into their territories by their clans within their nations, each with its own language.

Serve Jehovah with deep respect and rejoice with trembling.

Shout joyfully to Jehovah all the earth. Break out into joyful singing, and make music.

Jehovah reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He is enthroned above the cherubim. Let the earth shake!

Then it will happen in that day that Jehovah will again recover the second time with his hand the remnant of his people. They will remain, from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

They raise their voices and shout for joy. From the west they acclaim Jehovah's majesty.

The islands have seen it and fear. The ends of the earth tremble. They approach and come forward.

He will not lose hope or courage. He will establish justice on the earth. Distant lands eagerly wait for his law.

Sing a new song to Jehovah. Sing his praise, all the world! Praise him, you that sail the sea. Praise him, all creatures of the sea! Sing, distant lands and all who live there!

Listen to this, you islands! Pay attention you people far away. Jehovah chose me long before I was born. He recorded my name while I was in my mother's womb.

Shout for joy, O heavens! Rejoice, O earth! Break into joyful shouting, O mountains! For Jehovah has comforted his people. He will have compassion on his afflicted.

My righteousness is near. My salvation is on the way and my arm (power) will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm (power).

Surely the coastlands wait with hope for me. The ships from Tarshish are the first to bring your children from far away. They bring their silver and their gold with them to honor the name of Jehovah your God, the Holy One of Israel, because he has honored you.

I will set up a sign among them and send some of their survivors to the nations: to Tarshish, Put and Lud, Meshech, Rosh, Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands who have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will tell about my glory among the nations.

Saviors will come up on Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esau; and the kingdom will be Jehovah's.

Jehovah will fill them with fear for he will starve (emaciate) all the gods of the earth! Men will worship him, each one from his place, even the coastlands of the nations.

Isaiah spoke of John when he said: He is a voice shouting in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of Jehovah. Make his paths straight.' (Isaiah 40:3)

Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:33) (Daniel 2:44) (Revelation 11:15) (Psalm 37:10,29) (Acts 24:15)

Blessed is the coming kingdom, the kingdom of our father David. Hosanna in the highest!

The angel spoke to them: Do not be afraid. Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy to all the people.

He rescued us from the power of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love (the Son he dearly loves).

Saying: We give you thanks, Jehovah God the Almighty, the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power, and begun to rule as king. (Exodus 6:3) (Amos 4:13)
