The sky was swept away just like a scroll that is rolled up; and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

Every island vanished; not a mountain could be seen;

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

Sky and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away.

But by the same command the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire and are kept for the day when godless men are to be doomed and destroyed.

but they were defeated, and there was no room for them in heaven any longer.
