A Description Of The New Jerusalem

²¹ The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate built of a single pearl. The Broadway of the city was pure gold, as transparent as glass. ²² I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty Himself and the Lamb Himself are its temple. ²³ The city does not need the sun or moon to shine in it, for the glory of God has lighted it, and the Lamb is its lamp.
