The Heavenly Throne

¹ After these things I saw, and behold, a door was opened in heaven; and the first voice which I heard, like the voice of a trumpet speaking with me, said: Come up hither, and I will show you things that must be hereafter. ² And immediately I was in spirit; and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne; ³ and he that sat was, in appearance, like a jasper and sardine-stone: and there was round about the throne a rainbow, in appearance like an emerald.
