and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there will be delay no longer,

And death will be chosen rather than life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family, that remains in all the places to which I have driven them,” declares the Lord of hosts.

Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed;

Thorn and thistle will grow on their altars;

Then they will say to the mountains,
“Cover us!” And to the hills, “Fall on us!”

Then they will begin to

say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us

.’

The face

Immediately I was

in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne.

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

And from

and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O

Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will

rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.

‘You shall

break them with a rod of iron,

You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”

There they are in great dread,
For God is with the righteous generation.

Your hand will find out all your enemies;
Your right hand will find out those who hate you.

The Lord is at Your right hand;
He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath.

So the angel who was speaking with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and Zion.

Jesus *said to him, “You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well

when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,
