And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

I saw a book in the right hand of him who sat on the throne. It had writing on the inside and on the back and was sealed with seven seals.

I saw the Lamb open one of the seven seals. And I heard one of the living creatures speak with a voice like thunder. He said: Come!

Something stood there. I could not tell what it was. A vague image was in front of my eyes. I heard a soft voice say:

Surrender to Jehovah and wait patiently for him. Do not be preoccupied with an evildoer who succeeds in his way when he carries out his schemes.

([Psalm of David]) I wait silently for my God. My salvation comes from him.

Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah, for he is aroused out of his holy dwelling.
